Kelly Hirner - Preschool Secretary
Mrs. Hirner joined Zion Lutheran Preschool as the Preschool Secretary in 2023. Before coming to Zion, she was the Office Manager at the Hunting Corner as well as the Office Manager at Stark Enterprises. She has over 20 years of experience in the office environment. During her tenure at Stark Enterprises, Mrs. Hirner helped the company create LLCs for their five branches of the business, processed payroll, accounts payable and receivable, and created and organized all of the client files. She currently lives in Palmyra with her husband, George, and their children Georgia and Kolson. When she is not keeping busing keeping up with her kids, you can find her either out working in her garden, caring for their small hobby farm, or tucked in reading a book.

Danika Spratt - Classroom Teacher
Mrs. Spratt has been with Zion since 2016 when she began working as a Teacher's Aide. She took on the role of Classroom Teacher in 2023. She is a Palmyra native, attended preschool at Zion, and is a 2002 graduate of Palmyra High School. She holds a B.S. in Criminal Justice. Mrs. Spratt is currently working on her Child Development Associate Certification.
Mrs. Spratt is a member of First Baptist Church in Palmyra, and an active member of the American Legion Auxiliary.
She is married to Trevor Spratt, who served in the Marine Corps for 12 years; so they have experienced a lot of moving and travel. They have four daughters, Danae, Devyn, Dannah, and Dylan. They also have a dog, 2 cats, and chickens. Mrs. Spratt works in the classroom with her Aide, Katie Martin.

Erin Ragar - Classroom Teacher
Ms. Erin joined the team in 2018 as an Assistant Teacher and took the position of Classroom Teacher in 2022. Ms. Erin holds a Child Development Associate Certification.
She realized her love for early childhood education when she began her career at Bright Beginnings Preschool in Mexico, MO. She also taught as a Teacher's Aide at Head Start Douglas Community Center in Palmyra.
Ms. Erin has a son, Cade, and triplet daughters, Addie, Annie, and Angie. She lives with her husband Chris, her daughters, and two "bonus sons", Cameron and Austin. Ms. Erin works in the classroom with her Aide, Amber Bounds.

Crystal Hudson - Classroom Teacher
Mrs. Hudson joined our team as an Assistant Teacher in 2018 and took on the role of Classroom Teacher in 2023. Before coming to Zion, Mrs. Hudson stayed at home with her children for thirteen years, until her youngest started Kindergarten.
She previously worked at the YMCA in Hannibal, teaching swim lesson, working with the after school program, and in the program office. She lives in Palmyra, with her husband, Aaron, and their five daughters, They attend St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Palmyra. Mrs. Hudson works in the classroom with her Aide, Emily Hess.

Amber Bounds - Teacher's Aide
Mrs. Bounds joined our team in 2022 and works in the classroom with Ms. Erin.
She has an Associate’s Degree in Human Services Management from the University of Phoenix.
Mrs. Bounds spent four years teaching health & peer-to-peer conflict resolution to elementary aged students. She also served seven years in the United States Army as a Chemical Operations Specialist & Paratrooper – she received two Honorable Discharges.
She lives in Palmyra with her husband, Shane, and three children: Lillie, Marshall, and Lila. Mrs. Bounds attends Zion Lutheran Church with her family.

Ms. Katie has experience teaching infants to 3 year olds in a childcare setting. Ms. Kate moved to Palmyra from Mesa, Arizona and lives with her husband, Tanner, and their two children, Jeffrey and Miley.
Ms. Katie joined our team in 2023 as a Teacher's Aide and works in the classroom with Mrs. Spratt. She has a B.S. in Family and Human Development.
